Not a word!

Archie asks Lizard to go tell me she's hungry, while I'm just waking up. Lizard comes over to my bedside, says something, I mumble an "aha". Upon her return, Archie asks her what did Mama say, she says, "not a word."

Glasses help seeing

Lizard and Archie are playing.

Archie, "Is that your neck? Is that your good neck?"
Lizard, "No, Papa,that's the ball! Put on your glasses."

Big piece

Lizard's having trouble trouble chewing the melon she's having for dessert.

"Hm.... that's a big piece!"

Just the soup!

Lizard is having soup, broth, pasta, vegetables and meat.

Archie tries to give her a piece of pasta, and she says, "Just the soup!"

Then he scoops the pasta with the spoon, and tries to sneak it in, and she says, "Just the soup!"

ABCs

Lizard is listening to the ABC song on CD.

song goes, "... Next time wont you sing with me?"
Lizard says, "no"
.

Very non-chalant...

Lizard's on time out.

Archie asks her, "are you going to behave yourself now?"
Lizard, "no"
.

Hmm....

Archie says, "Bring me a book and I'll read to you."
Lizard, staring at the bookshelf, "Hmmmm..... lets's see...."

Pasta vs. Pretzels

Its dinner time...

Archie says, "How about some pasta?"
Lizard, "How about some pretzels?"
Archie, "Pasta."
Lizard, "Pretzels!"
"Pasta!"
"Pretzels!"

Quesadillas

we're out of tortillas to make quesadillas (she calls them qadillas), so I tell her we need to go buy some.

Lizard, "Bye-bye Mama! Bye-bye Papa!"
I say, "where are you going?"
Lizard, "to the store!"
Archie says, "what are you going to the store for?"
Lizard, "to buy qadillas!"

Out of milk

we're out of milk... Lizard says, "We need to go buy milk!"

Driving by the store

we pass by grocery store, Lizard points, "there's the milk!"
